Roswell Facts

Roswell is based on the popular book series, Roswell High by Melinda Metz.
Roswell's theme song is called "Here with Me" by Dido and it is on her album, No Angel
Roswell is filmed in Covina, California and at a stage on the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood, California.
The desert scenes are usually shot at the Vasquez Rocks (a popular hiking spot).
It takes 5-7 days to shoot one episode of Roswell.
All cast members are at work for 14-16 hours a day, whether or not they have a lot of scenes in the episode.
When they are not shooting scenes, they can sometimes be found in their trailers eating, sleeping, getting a quick nap, reading, writing, watching t.v., listening to music... Shiri likes taking pictures of the cast and crew since she got a new camera, all of them joke around with each other, Colin likes playing games on his Game Boy, and Nick plays his acoustic guitar (which was given to him by William Sadler).
The tabasco sauce the aliens put on their food is actually V8 Berry Splash.
Roswell's first and second season was shown on the WB, and its third season was shown on UPN.
Roswell repeats are shown on the Sci-Fi channel Monday - Friday at 6pm.
